View Full Version : Custom triple clamps from the US
http://www.munzmachine.com/motorcycleparts/
Anyone know anything about this mob? Was advertised on CF forums.
Need triples to put CBR USDs on my VTR thou.. these are $375 USD which seems pretty damn good?
Assuming I just give them the measurements of CBR forks, vs VTR headstem etc, and they can make something up that makes it all fit together?
I dunno shit about this stuff.

First thoughts...That sounds cheap..too cheap...
Looked at the pics on their site and there are lots of machine marks on the yokes.
How much is postage gonna set you back ? probably about US$100+
So your looking at around AU$550 min

http://www.munzmachine.com/customtripleclampsorderform/
you choose what cut/shape, bolts required, clamping arrangement, profiling etc, all at added extra costs.. the set I made up for myself was $800..
Ohhh shit, I only scrolled a bit down to the general shapes, didn't see it kept going and going haha..
Yeah looking at that, would definitely cost up close to a grand. Plus forks. Plus the rest.
Probably not worth it until I get a better bike :P

They are a bit rough round the edges, but even at $1000 delivered they aint bad value, with a bit of time spent cleaning them up they could look quite smart.
Remember though, once you hit $1000AU$(including the cost of shipping) you are up for 5% import duties, and gst on the whole amount once the 5% has been added on.

I remember reading on CF that 929 or 954 front ends bolt straight in - just need to make new steering stops.
