Next Wednesday a few of us are meeting at Mobil Berowra for a quick lap of the old road.
If you want to join us be at the Berowra Mobil 1745
We will be leaving 1815 sharp
If everyone is keen we can go somewhere afterward for a bite or a beer.... up to you
Hopefully this rain will have fucked of by then

Sounds good, alright if its raining we'll obviously give the old road a miss, but meet up at the same place at the same time. Then head to Dan's local (You live the closest mate) for a beer and a feed. But just quietly I'm pretty confident the rain has fucked off for a week at least.

Ok thought I'd write up a quick ride report,

Good to see the regular faces show up for an ASF ride, have to be honest and say the old road is the best it has ever been in ages, they have resurfaced a lot of the corners and the weather and riding conditions were perfect (SUNSHINE).

Six of us left at the designated time and we did a quick lap which was basically to the slab and back, the pace was nice and flexible with everyone riding to a pace that was suitable for them. The reason I love doing this ride mid week is that there is hardly any cars which means you have the road to yourselves so you ride at the pace which is comfortable, not dictated to you by the slow Sunday driver in front of you.

So once we got back we made a quick detour to one of the locals for a Schooner then everyone went their own way home hopefully feeling pretty good after a decent ride and a beer with mates. Highlight for me would have to be seeing Cruise Control's face when this guy kept complimenting him on his "Buell".

It was a Little overcast boris, but perfect riding conditions, five of us turned up tonight for a quick lap of the old road and then to the pub for a feed of BBQ chicken washed down with a nice cold schooner, well everyone except Weasel who had a salad and diet coke.
