Love it or hate it but these are the rough ideas i will be trying out on the duke this year. Being a twin i am stuck on ideas with the cans. I was thinking of running 2 shortened MV Augusta style pipes (heavily baffled - loud as fuk now) running up ony half length of the tail unit.

Tail unit is 2006 R6 and head light is Benelli TnT

I havnt played with colours or any thing yet but this is a rough picture of the end result I am aiming (hoping) for.

Input much appreciated. Oh and dont mind the Duke Donk in there at the moment thats gonna go too.;)

well.... one problem i see is scale maybe. what about an mv agusta brutale tail? I think the light unit might be okay if you rotate it a bit. the gap makes it look off a bit. I know its just a photochop and here is a rough pic i did in my image software

I tried to match the yellow but the software doesnt have blending tools that ive found yet. I took a pic of an r6 and overlayed the two until the wheelbases were the same. I know there is almost a 2" difference so i left the r6 just a bit smaller.

So what donk are you going to be using?.
I would go with the R6 tail.
Ditch the belly pan and have ago at fitting a bandit one a much neater looking item.
Cut down the front fender that one on there is fuggin huge.
Add another disc and caliper to the front if poss.
Exhaust i would try and fit two stubby cans that exit just under the front footrests either side maybe something like the old harris formula one cans.
Twin headlights in a stacked formation

Motor will be SV or TL with the Smaller SV belly pan. Carbon Fibre front gaurd (cut down as suggested ) and carbon fibre mud gaurd. The reason i am putting the rear mud gaurd and using the stock R6 hanger is to keep it legal as the cops in QLD are on the ball now when it comes to bike mods, and they can be prety harsh about enforcing it too.

The 2 stubby cans either side sounds good but i'd like something slim line to suit the slimmer tail unit. i guess doing the stuby cans I could retain the rearsets and just modify it to suit single seater. But then again ive already had the rear sets modded to suit the high pipes[?][?][?] hhmm dunno.......

Cheers fellas keep the suggestions and thoughts commin

Am also looking at doing the Buell front wheel and break conversion as it seems to be a popular mod witht he monsters in the UK.

Ive tried the stacked head lights butchanged my mind so i sold them. The Benelli head light look shite in that attempt but really does suit when placed against it.

this is what hotbodies does with the r6 tail.
you could always try an r1 tail

for a muffler you could have a look at quat-d - they do an under engine exhaust - try this link and have look at the pic of the monster - seen one on an s4 on recent trip to dingland and sounded/looked ok
