Hello everybody, my name's reece, I live on the mid north coast of NSW. I own an 2007 SV650n, here's me on it at Eastern Creek a couple of weeks ago.

I've owned it since new and riding it has become an obsession. I'm making my way through the levels of California Superbike School and doing the odd track day to improve my riding.
I'm coming to a time where my bike may need some proper modification and thought this would be a good place to talk to some educated people with skills.
I "modified" the front end and right hand side myself pretty heavily on Tuesday afternoon. Its at the shop being quoted for repairs now.
I'm sitting with my right ankle in a cast - broken Fibula.
If the insurance assessor decides to write the bike off I'll be attempting to buy it back, put a GSXR 600 or 750 front end on it and a ZX10R shock into the rear because according to members of SVDownunder.com they both fit with a small amount of work.
It may not get written off, but if it does I'll need to be pointed towards somewhere that can do the fitting of the aforementioned items because I don't have the skills and there isn't a bike builder in my local area.
I'd love to end up with a bike that is better than the original, that will make it worth the crash and the pain of broken bone. And the 6 weeks in a cast, unable to ride anything. Grrrrr.
