Turned out it was worse than he thought.

Did a fair few K's with him both before and
after his off.

certainly wasnt the first TK lol.

i was running a bridgestone 020 on the rear (free tyre ended up being expensive lol)it just let go, no warning.... nothing..

tip in, railing..... just start to roll on throttle....WTF.. SHIT SLIDING SLIDING... WATCHING BIKE.. SLIDING... wash off speed before the barrier, i stop stand up, watch bike slide some more, then see it collect the stocko clocks (i couldnt be arse removing them to make it a s/f so i thought id knock em off lol) smash them off, bike then stands up and falls to other side, walk to bike pick up.

let me tell you trying to get a smash bike back into 1st from 6th is hard lol didnt want to play for a while.

fimp... road is baby butt smooth, not issues with chassis at all, tyre couldnt handle it, and no didnt over lean tyre.. it just let go.

im all ok.. not happy with the rocket pants and not happy with bridgestone 020. the bike would only take 2 or so days to be back to right again.

Glad to hear you're ok Joe, I know exactly how you felt when that tyre let go, shit of a feeling, had the same thing happen to me when I lived in Sydney, me and my bro went for a ride to Jenolan Caves, on the way back, the back tyre just let go, not leaning as hard as I had been... an Avon roadrunner (around 1981 or so), rode back to Sydney without front brakes... felt like an American rider..

I can see an SV650 streetfighter parked in your garage Joe.... just try and do your mods in the garage though.

Replace the silver commodore with 5 or 6 bikes and the story wouldn't have a happy ending.
