I believe that totally. When I used to live in England a friend of mine was stabbed in a kids playing field at night by an ex-boyfriend. She walked for a while with the knife hanging out her back before she noticed the blood running down her legs. When I saw her next she told me it just felt as if this guy had punched her really hard in the back and that's all she thought it was. Weird hey?

isnt it because addrenalin takes over and you dont notice it as much

lots of reasons, but not as much trauma to soft tissue as being punched, hit with a bat etc. And Adrenalin is definitely a factor. If the knife stays in, chances of coagulating blood in the right spots is alot higher and would generally be cleaner cuts everywhere. Like when you cut yourself with a blunt object/tear skin it hurts alot more than a nice incision with a good knife etc. Swhy its easy to go at your wrists, otherwise emos wouldn do it would they! But best as a trauma reg or specialist hey.

I wonder if not realising it's in there has something to do with it also? Shark bite victims often report just feeling a tugging sensation until they realise what's happened, maybe it's the same sort of thing?

LEGO is moulded using boiled down PAIN! - fuck I used to laugh my evil little ass off as a kid when an adult stood on that shit, the "4" bricks hurt the most tho. confirmed after rigorous testing
