Hey guys, my other half would like to know if there is a helmet that you can get with low road noise?

Shoei is the quietest one I've tried but ear plugs are the go, or an ipod. My son is getting a new shoei XR1100 this week, they are supposed to be better than the older ones I'll give it a road test and let you know.

My Roof Boxer is really quiet, unless you wear it outside in the wind or on a motorike, that's when it gets real noisy

Go for the touring biased helmets rather than the race type, touring will be quieter and won't buffet her head as much when she turns it (different shell shape).

If you want noise reduction + music I use (and heartily recommend!) apple in ear headphones (http://store.apple.com/au/product/MA850G/A?mco=MTY3ODQ5OTY) http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1265310731.gif

They're a bit pricey ($119.00) but the sound is unreal and almost completely blocks out all outside noise.
