cbr600f help ?

Ok, The mrs's cbr dies on the road after about a hour, pull over , release pressure in the tank and away it goes. Obviously tank isnt venting, my question is how does the cbr tank vent ? . is it a vented cap or what. I have tried lookin in the tank etc but cant find where or how it vents. ?

there should be a hole in the under side of the fuel cap doc

Yarp they vent though the cap, is only a pin hole within the lock mechanism they can be a bitch to get apart and cleaned out.

Figured they would have to vent somewhere. Here a pic of cap, There is no holes anywhere in it. Sitting on the bike lookin at the recessed area around the cap there is a hole in there about 5mm or so, I am assuming that is the one for when she overfill drain yeah ?. Gunna drill my own hole soon unless anyone has other ideas ?

the 5mm hole is defintly the overfill hole ....amybe try soaking the cap in carbty cleaner or something of that nature
