Strawb, it'll be good to see your progress on this one, good shit.

Fimp, I was contacted by a dude here in Perth here who has turbo charged his TL.
I suggested he joins up here and maybe get some advice and tips.
You TL boys can all be freinds.
Unfortunately his motor chucked a tanty on the dyno just before xmas and now has a fucked bottom end.
He's spewin....funnily enough.

i love it. I wanted/want a tls so bad its not funny. I love to meddle but if I had a tl i would leave it stock. I say that but its probably not true. I was lucky enough to put the first 10miles on a few that rolled out of our suzuki dealership a few years back.

Hmmmmm... wonder what a TL arse end would look like on a GSXR1100 streetfighter...lol

Now theres something worth thinking about right thats it I thunked and it is decided that I will have to have ago at that when i build my fighter
Thanks for that moment of inspiration there Jarrod been trying to decide which backend to use without going the usual R1 route :D

Oh and looking at the saddle it should fit around the gix1100 tank quite well.

Good luck with your project strawb

good luck with it strawb TL's are a great sounding machine and from what im told it not hard to replace the s model engine parts for the r series. though i suppose you proberly could pick up a complete tlr motor easy enough. a guy in adelaide was doing K1/2 gsxr conversions on them they looked great as they are a little rounded and suit the frontend, food for thought. i to would like a tl one day.....
