How do I connect something (gps charger) to my battery without it constantly draining my battery?

use a relay and pickup a positive off the ignition switch when the key is on. Mmmmmm probably dont even need to relay it to be honest. Pendin on what year bike, if ur lights are on alla time, just splice into the parker wire on ya headlight. or if ya want it up the back use the tail light wire.

If you run the relay off the head/tail and the power straight from the battery (don't forget inline fuse!) to a waterproof cigarette lighter you'll have no effect on the lights and a usefull plug for other things (not just a GPS)
