anyone ever done this?
is it a heat thing?
reluctant to shove acetone down there in case i stuff up my grip-ace grip
any help would be appreciated [8D]
see if you can use compressed air and WD mate first

Dip the whole bike in beer.
....or if you don't have enough beer try a heat gun mate (or in your case hair drier).

the problem i have is that the rubber of the grip is sitting on a solid plastic bit
can acetone dissolve rubber or plastic?

Try metho or wd40...they won't attack the plastic.

use an air nozzle mate you will be surprised how easy they come off

dont use acetone or any other solvent .itll dissolve most polymers or at least make em even stickier wd or lanolin , air and persistance

anyways, shoved the head-gun up the end of the bars and gradually crept up the temp
at 80degrees she just slid off :D
