A mate of mine has a ZL1000, won't sell it for love or money.
Has won several drag meets with it. They are relatively short geared,and he typically pulls 1.6 sec 60ft times, and low 11's. Not bad for a 1980's shafty!

Back in the day it was battle of the VMax against the ZL1000. First time I read about it was in performance bikes and oh how much did I want a VMax.....
