Ok, Ive been looking at all the bikes in the fourms and there are loads of Crazy Bikes and i want 1 but,
I want to have it done by myself so its mine, but i dont have a work shed tools or any of the things id need to do it.
You might think "Pussy" but insted of staying put for the first 1/2 of my life i went all over the world working and exploring. i seen shit you would not believe. recently i came back from 18months in Vancouver Canada and boy did i see some crazy bikes over there.
And before i start coping shit Ive done hard work and used just about every tool known to man,
but now im stuck indoors being a Bar manager. good life but i miss hard yacker.

if you had my bike and could / would change it to a fighter what would you do,
ive attached pics so let me know.
Remember im in Darwin NT Australia so its not easy to find the right people to help me.
so i come to you.
what would you do.
Im looking for 6 to 8 people for idears.

sadly ive had my licence taken off me for 12 months so it a goodtime to fighter up.

I got the bike from Wangaratta Vic Australia if i was back there i would have no problems getting the items and expertise to fighter it up.

Morning Crop, i think i have some fighter pics of NT400 Bros at home but till i find em, heres my suggestions.. not sure of your funds or skill level in fabrication but i'll throw out there what i would do.

1. front end - chase up some USD's either off an early Kawasaki 250 or 400 maybe RGV or a later RVF400
preferably duel disc. IMHO
Theres a few import mobs in sydney and melbourne like Sumoto and RBimorts that have the parts sitting on the shelf, postage will be your friend in darwin..

2. sort out yokes, ie drill and fit some risers, i'd go fat bars, 1 1/8 instead of thin bars.

3. get rid of hideous wheels.

4. sort out what front end you want and try and source a different rear, im not sure on your hub or dimensions of your swingarm, but being a honda sssa yuo may be in luck with older VFR and NSR's
there wheels look much tastier than yours..

5. you have a bolt on subframe, great unbolt it and throw the whold back end away.. IMHO..

6. fabricate a subframe to suit seat unit of your choice.. might photoshop some ideas later for you.

7. so now you would have a devent little 400 twin with USD's an SSSA and some better looking bodywork you should be smiling a little more by this stage..

8. then all the little things, what bars to choose, headlight, paint, exhaust etc etc..

hope this helps a little...

Apparently, an Africa Twin motor (750cc) slots straight in...

Now that would make a serious wheelie bike! Nice.

Don't forget we have a few members up in NT like Benz. He'd have his local knowledge to share with you as well.

Is it the 400 or 650? It's a nice toy either way. New front end, new seat unit, change back wheel, sit back and pull chicks. If you can live with an 18" rear wheel they're pretty cheap, the 17" from the RVF etc are bloody expensive

You should have woken up earlier and swapped it for my 7/11 that was only just moved last weekend.:D

I would have swapped it for this thing for sure, perfect LAMS bike.
