Moscow highway electronic billboard shows porn video

MOSCOW - Drivers in downtown Moscow squinted in disbelief as an electronic highway billboard blazed a two-minute pornographic video instead of its regular advertising clips.

Late-night traffic on one of the Russian capital's busiest roads slowed Thursday as a couple's explicit escapades appeared on the 9-by-6-meter (yard) display.

Some people took pictures of the sight with their mobile phones and posted them on the Internet.

Passer-by Alyona Prokulatova told The Associated Press that she was "so shocked that I couldn't even shoot video or take a picture of it."

The screen's owner, 3 Stars, told the AP that a hacker attack was likely to blame. Police were investigating the incident.

well anyway my guess it wasnt a hackers attack but deliberate dirty pr action by the ad agency, and very successful by that: who knew them before and now famous all over the world!
rather in-famous tho... hope they will be closed :( have nothing against porn but it wasnt to late and little kids might have seen wat adults made after kissing 'em good night [8)]

btw, just reported theyve caught the hacker that made it, he lives 1500km from moss cow, 40yo ex taxi driver :D, broke into other company's server and then into the ads company's server (prob'ly his first hackers experience :)), says the pasword was just 11111111 [:0] and he didnt know where the porn ad was s'posed to show up, he thought that in some store or else... well hes won a jackpot and possibly a coupla years in a siberian hotel! [xx(] i guess he should have made his servers chain a tad longer [}:)]

ive given more info in fewer words hos [:p] and theyve called his name but my head aint a bin to keep those bloody russian names in :D 40yo got caught like a kid, had known from i-net how to hack a server and tryed at once... got caught later... should of practiced more and to hack a bank via a long chain of foreign servers [8D]
