I took my boy down to RAF Duxford in 2008 and sat for ages and ages looking at the Lockheed SuperBlackbird.
What an incredible piece of kit !!
None of the body panels fit together, there are huge gaps between them, fluids dripping out on the floor [xx(]........ coz thats how they are.
Its only when they are flying fast that the body panels heat up, expand and seal !
They saw a very long active service and lifespan and I reckon they are the dogs hairy ones !!! .... gissa go ?? [:p]

OOOOPS $1.4 billion...

On 23 February 2008, a B-2 crashed on the runway shortly after takeoff from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. The Spirit of Kansas, 89-0127
had been operated by the 393rd Bomb Squadron, 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, and had logged 5,176 flight hours. It was
the first crash of a B-2. The two person crew ejected from the aircraft and survived
the crash. The aircraft was completely destroyed, a hull loss valued at US$1.4 billion. After the accident, the Air Force took the B-2 fleet off
operational status until clearing the fleet for flight status 53 days later on 15 April 2008.

They must have "upgraded" that one to windows vista :D

I'm told that without all the onboard computers controling everything that these things won't glide?

yep and same with the raptors. they are designed to be aerodynamicly unstable so they can pull off bullshit maneuvers.
