The tail looks suss and the RR only came out in 1989 but I suppose it could be called a 1990. Could be a cheap buy if it is genuine as there was only 500 made.

Sorry to let you guys down , it ain't an RR it is just a normal Gixxer with the long stroke engine ( the year they changed back after 2 years with a short stroker ), the rr had conventional forks , beefed up swingarm etc etc. I could go on but couldn't be fucked typing anymore.

I just knew that the rr came with a single seat unit,the ad said the only mod was a exhast or something so made me wonder thats all.[^]

I'm guessing someone's cobbled together a single seat unit to allow it to be registered as a solo in QLD which is a lot cheaper. The edges are a bit too square on the seat unit to be a real RR seat
