There was 63 road deaths nation wide over the holidays.

Zero deaths in ACT.

So the Summernats is the safest place to be.

We keep laughing about that here in the ACT Des, well me and the missus do anyway. Do you have any idea how small ACT is? Little wonder there are no deaths here there is no where to get fast enough or far enough to drive to cause fatigue how would there be any deaths?

I am only going to the Summernates because I've never been and I'd kick myself if I never went whilst I lived here as it may not be for that much longer.

I went on the Friday, first time in 10 years, but mainly to see The Screaming Jets. After 21 years, they still rock hard! Even Noiseworks were pretty good. John Stevens' still got it.

As for the cars - I could take or leave 95% of them, but there was some seriously nice rides in the Top 60 pavilion. Apart from that, I think I only saw 1 tit and not a single fight.

Pretty tame compared to last time I was there, what I remember of it, anyway [B)].
