Welcome Ozguy, im in brisbane and i know a guy up here, but if you want wire wheels for a 1400 you wont get much change out of $2500, that is if you can get hubs to suit. Ive got a Kat with wide wire wheels and a mate of mine paid $500 for a bare 5.5 inch rear rim (no holes or spokes).

Redwing Honda did a set for a CB900 they built try giving them a call to see who they used.

What is occasionally used in GSXR Choppers to covert them to wire wheels is Triumph Adventurer wheels. They are from the off roader and apparently aren't overly difficult to adapt to Suzuki Forks & Swingarms. Thats just what I've read in several articles and I have no experience with the conversion myself.

hiya suxukifreak.....i have three pop up 750 kats here in melb and thinking bout doing a 1400 based kat...hence the idea bout wire wheels
2500 sounds about right for the project and yeah the hubs are a bitch to locate...no luck sourcing them yet...might have to ask the H-D crews
