I want to get thicker grips for the bike.
My dad has heated grips on his bike and the thickness of the grips was way more comfy and felt better.
But I dont want heated grips on the gix.
Does anyone know What brands are out there n where to get them???

Cheers

You can buy foamy looking spongy ones from the local bike shop for about $10

Shop around, there's plenty of options out there.

Test grip any sets that have potential to be sure they're comfortable.

A thicker grip will give the effect of a weaker return spring and increase the amount of travel you'll need to roll on the throttle (less responsive, more control)

Harris gel grips have a larger diameter and some funky designs I like 'em but some other don't.

You used to be able to get large foam type grips but I've not seen them for a while (years), I also used to use the pushbike foam ones, they are ok but don't last too long, cheap but, again, not seen them for a while, must check out some at a push bike shop, or K-Mart like I used to.
