Towing bikes

If we do head off to Brissy I will be towing a trailer with both my xjr and the wifes zzr on it..around 450kgish (4.1 xf ute auto).
Does anyone here know much about trans oil coolers ? Would it be wise to fit one ??

If it doesn't already have one the transmission cooler lines will be running thru the radiator, just undo the fittings and run them thru your cooler instead. sould get a cooler preety cheap of a parts place.

Saw a trans cooler and lines at Supercheap far around $60 the other day.

Do the tranny cooler or it will cook faster than 2 minute noodles when you get up to speed.

I have had a few of these utes, trust me, money well spent.

yeah trans cooler it for sure m8 ... the old through the radiator is shit as u can imagine the radiator is already at like 80 odd degrees. and they do cook

Thanks fellas. Got a result today.....dropped in the wreckers and there was an XF with an after market cooler fitted...$20 :D
