..anyone know anything about this system ?
ive got a set of clocks to replace my busted to fuck speed triple ones [there from an 07 tiger] but they wont let me start the engine[they will however work once the engine is started] any ideas ..in english please :D

blade thanks mate but i need to know how to con the instruments into thinking the ABS is working fine so the bloody thing will let me start the bike
[see the speedy hasnt got ABS and the tiger has , and i reckon thats why the tiger clocks wont let me start the speedy s engine as its showing a fault and therefore locking out the starter motor and the fuel pump relay as well as showing an EMS fault light ] ..and Russ ......thanks lol

I'm not familiar with the either system, but if it runs its running on a CAN and the clocks are talking to the ABS unit over CAN then a wiring diagram won't help. Unlike older analogue systems where joining a couple wires or shunting in a resistor or so would do the trick, CAN comms are in bytes and sent on specific channels. ABS unit would send a packet of data on the CAN indicating its status for anything else on the CAN to read. The beauty of the system is its only 4 wires and everything can talk to one an another on those 4 wires.

Again, I'm only guessing but I'd say you probably need to rig up a dummy ABS unit on the CAN to tell the dash that its status is OK, as I'm assuming it does some pre start check. The ABS unit itself would use analogue inputs which can be fudged. Although its inputs probably won't make a difference as brake pressure should be 0 to start anyway. Probably just checking that the ABS unit has power.

ta rupes that seems to make sense it does do a pre start check ,the only other way i can do this is if i can find someone good enough to take the screens out of the good unit and solder them into my original ...:{
