That looks tops mate. Love the colour, and looks like alot of work went into blacking out the forks, rear arm etc. The clipons are fine but it would look great with some black flatbars.

Well Done.

PS the 954 stocker front guard was quite sexy looking. It would look hot in that ti colour.

hmmmnz
24-05-2007, 10:08 PM
looks good, but have you ridden in the rain or on wet roads yet??
i had a similar set up on my bike, all i can say is keep you visor closed :D
the water comes vertically up from the front of the wheel, and directly into face.
i would put flat bars on it myself, it would still give you the same stance that you are after, but in my opinion look a bit better.
other than that, a nice looking bike, keep it up

Funkenfresh
24-05-2007, 11:26 PM
nah i havent ridden in the rain or on wet roads yet.. and dont realy plan too...
but im thinking that a nicely shaped and cut down motard front gaurd would look different...

Looking good mate - very tidy.

you know why you get a tetnus shot when you have an off on your bike and get road rash? cause of all the shite the ends up on the roads... Watch you dont get a mouth full of it in the wet;)

25-05-2007, 08:54 AM
i like the stance of it, those lights are tucked in great up front also, much better then the first pic. I like the color, but that blue had a lot of POP. Keep the clipons, it will handle much better that way:)

WATEVR
25-05-2007, 10:38 AM
looking good mate the colour is very nice. i reckon that dont put mx bars on it but rather a flat bar set up so it keeps the original 'feel'.

well done

the tail looks absoluty ugly and make the optik of the bike
to a crash bike ..,
the horn in front of the headlight??? why?? doesen`t fits...
and last you realy payd 170 aussie dollars for the breaking reservoir...
HAHAHA sorry mate..
for the half price you can get something like this

pillion could have been done alot better, yes, but its not going to stay like that forever... was thinking an R6 tail or Scobner design tail..

That bike is growing on me now. Nice bars and I thought the "gas mask" look of the horn under the lights was pretty cool.

I'm not a fan of the high kicked up rear that the Euros like, unless it's got a 300 tyre under it. :D

To me, it's all about the attitude of the bike and proportion. Some good design ideas coming out of this thread.
