Hey guys, started pulling my frame apart today to get ready for the powdercoaters, but I had a lot of trouble pulling of the main bolt holding on the swing arm. In the end i took it to the mechanic to take out and it even took him 10 mins to pull it out. Problem is it looks like it hasnt had any grease for the last 12 or so years (88 gixxer). THe bolt was the culprit being slightly worn and rusty looking. Now AM i best to head to a bolt shop and get a replacement, try and clean up the current or find a spare one at the wreckers>? Cheers

Show us a photo of it mate and we'll know what state it's in. It should clean up without any problems but without seeing it that may be bad advice.

I gave it a light sand with some 600 grit and thats smoothed it out enough to slide in and out easy enough. Its still very slightly eroded in places butim sure itll b ok, thanks tho.
