Did the front end bolt straight in there or did you have to do any reworking at all :)
Looks damn fine

nice work mate. It would make a huge difference to the handling. My father in law has an SV and the stock forks are pretty low spec and average kit. Money well spent.
Plus it looks bloody good!

Thanks for your replies guys , the only mod I had to do was dremell out the underside of the GSXR triple clamp and cut out some 12mm alloy plate and glue with Devcon (2 part alloy liquid epoxy)then clampped them together ,after a few days to cure I marked out where I wanted to mount the SV bar clamps then drilled the T clamp.

The steering damper lug was removed then painted the T clamps with satin black brake rotor paint.

Coerce Hyper bars and standard SV bar risers.I cant take all the credit though, I think it was Large's idea of useing pvc pipe clips to mount the head light $7 for 4 clamps , bargin. And the HEL brake lines I got through Stu.

Thats the standard width,I think the stainless gaurd stands out to much, I might get it powder coated black.

OK then last one.
Hi,i have a 05 sv 1000s,im thinking about doing the same with the forks,is that a complete front end or did you use the sv wheel.I know with the gsxr 1000 k2 forks you ,can keep the sv wheel, just change the size of the discs.....

Gday Griff,I used the standard SV wheel and discs and made up some 5mm spacers so that the gsxr radial calipers clear the discs ,SV discs are 10mm bigger than the gsxr k4 discs ,SV stearing head bearings are the same as the gsxr.Theres heaps of info on the Sv portal on how to do this.

Good luck.
Some more aussie SV front end mods.

Cheers mate ,if you can ,try and stick with the K4 stuff, the front wheel ,axle and steering lock will work nicely with k4 front forks and triple clamps, if you do this you might want to get hold of a rear shock also. Here's a pic of the rad gaurds powdercoated.

Hardware/plumbing stores carry these pipe clamps in a few sizes which can be made up into brackets like in this thread (pg3)
