I have an old 85 1140 ef that I havent run in about 5 years.
Any ideas on what it would be worth.
I picked it up thinking I could use part off it for my gs 1000 but after firing it up and going for a run on it I couldnt bring myself to canabilise it so it just sat and its sat and its sat.Maybe I can find it a new home where it will be appreciated.

I've lookwed at a couple.
The one on Shayne's site went for about $1500 i think (with rego)

I'd be happy to own one, nice motor's and used to be VERY popular at the drags,
I never liked the 16" front wheels but wouldn't stop me if the price is right.

Post up some pic's.

Yep that the same except mine has the full fairing, no reg, no battery, tyres perrished and hasnt been started in years. Over xmass I night pour some oil down the plug holes and let it sit for a couple of days the see if it starts. I will take some pics and put them up.
I was thinking it had to be worth $1k.

If the motors turn's out to be fine, it certainly has a value,
late 1135 motor go's into all the "smaller" GSX11's and i think has
bigger valves / 36mm carbs etc.

If the rest of the bike is tidy, then its not rocket science to
drop any of the air/oil GSX/R/Bandit motors in.

Be a shame to break it if its complete. Been a few nice one's done.
