Can anyone shed some light for me.

I need to sort out my B-King as the fuelling is crap since I put the TBR mufflers on.

The problem I have is which unit do I buy or do I need to buy both

1. Bazzaz Fuel Control Unit only

OR

1.Bazzaz Fuel Control Unit and
2.Bazzaz Air Mapping Control Kit

Any help would be appreciated as I'm old school, carby jets and air correctors kind 'a guy.

Nuh this is I'm told the one to get because it actually reads what your air fuel ratio is and you can make the changes via laptop so I'm lead to believe.

as far as I can tell Powercommanders only have set maps where as the Bazzaz can be set to suit your particular needs.

You can also yoshbox the std ecu, Micks B-K that was at Casino runs real good with its TBR pipes with just a yosh box adjustment .
PC V is supposed to be a step up on the old powercommanders , they all can be tuned with a computer , powercommander just have a large libary of maps to get you in the ball park before fine tuning

Some bazzaz setups have autotune , no laptop needed , not sure how much i trust autotune yet , from what i see on the us busa boards some like the bazzaz and others have had problems

Pity the reflash is not quite done for the b-king just yet, very impressive what can be done on the gen 2 busa , and the gen 2 busa files can be loaded in the b-king ecu but you loose dash function as the dashes are different

Yeah Booster I believe the Air Mapping Control Unit has the ability to self tune wheras the Fuel Control unit you adjust with laptop.

Any idea on prices for the Yoshi as the Bazzaz seemed cheap at around 390US and 340US for the Air Map.

Anybody in OZ sell this stuff (Yoshi)? Although if they did would probably have to be more expensive than buying direct.

Power commander usually have a number of 'off the shelf' maps for each model but individual dyno tuning is still possible.

As far as I know the new PC V auto-tunes to preset afr's at certain rpm values. Should be better than the factory ecu but you can still improve the tune with some dyno time

PC III is the old, PC V the new. Manufactured by Dynojet - http://www.dynojet.com/

I emailed them a couple of weeks ago and was told that they are only officially supporting installation of PC V for 2009 and newer bikes. That means no off the shelf maps are available and factory support may not be offered if you have any issues.

Superbike supply (http://www.superbikesupply.com.au/eng/showpage.php3?id=2193) are doing the PC III for $430 incl postage at the moment. There are cheaper sellers on ebay and from the US etc

Thanks for your help guys they all seem comparable in price.

The only reason I thought of the Bazzaz is it was recommended on a B-King site and came highly recommended.
