perhaps that the price for replacement VFR radiators
as in 2 rads?

its still pretty expensive, it might have something to do with PWR's line of bike rads too
they are priced up around that region

there is another option, depending on how much tyre clearance you have to the front header and room under the frame
a slightly modified rad from an existing bike of similar power could be a way to go, get the outputs and inputs moved to suit
i got away with that for a few years on the TL, wouldnt be more than a couple of hundred to buy one and get it done

does it need to be curved?

if not just ring your local natrad dealer with the deminsions and they can get a core made to your sizes

then any ally fab place can handle the tanks easy enough. i don't see it to be that hard a job.

drop me an email i might be able to help you out with this

that would be without you doing all the work and drawing it up for em
that should save you a few bucks

do yourself a favour and get a copy of the streetfighters in store atm (assemetric cbr on the front cover)
there is a dude in there with a offset single radiator that actually doesnt look as bad as it sounds
