OK, advice is spelt with a c, the phrase is "for all intents and purposes" and the c you put in thanks is erroneous and completely unnecessary. :)

Also, just check and see if the steering stem from your GPz will fit the Bandit lower clamp, if it does then it is a fairly easy process.

the gpz stem will be too small in diameter but we have used a cb900 honda stem on the gpz110 with the bandit triples and use the kawasaki bearings.

My way of doing things (may not be the best way)

1/ Think about getting billet triples made to suit

2/ Say fuck paying someone (all apologies to Ben)

3/ Decide to buy a mill ( then spend $hitloads on cutters & clamps & other stuff)

4/ Get the mill home and say "Fuck a cnc conversion is pretty easy"

5/ Discover that you need Ben to do some machining to get the ballnuts for the X axis to fit

6/ Realise that you're not quite all there & laugh

With regards to the roller door stem you may find you'll have to bore the top clamp from 22mm to 24mm to get the stem to fit, that's what I needed to do to get the stem to work with my GXSR clamps. Please don't ask about the mill thing, it's just too confusing.

Have a look here: http://www.ohiocaferacers.com/OCRStemSizes.pdf and you'll find bearing sizes (which includes the stem size).

Alright - I'll f*cking do it ....:D....

So the Bandit is 25x47x15 upper and 30x55x17 lower.

And the GPz is listed at 30x48x14 upper and 30x52x17 lower.

So you can use the GPz bottom bearing (the stems are both 30), but I doubt the top bearing size is right because they're saying they're both 30 ID (??)

Measure up your GPz stem - if it's 25 at the top you're good to go (with the GPz bearings;))

But you may have to put a spacer on the stem at adjust for (probably) different stem lengths.[:0]

hey mate, send a message to pesh, he bought a busa front end off me that i had adapted the stem from a old kawasaki, cost me $150 in machining bits, he might still have it and let it go cheap.

That's usefull. Very good.
Now all I need is a list of stem lengths.
