I had a mate with an RE-5 but it was in /shocking/ condition.. barely ran. Always wanted to get it off him and try fix it up but he insisted he'd do it one day. Pretty sure it's a pile of rust by now.

Shit i havent seen one of them for years i thought theyd all died ..it was and is a failure by suzuki it sold alongside the GS750 and GT750 and was as expensive as both of them if my memory serves me well
it did about 105mph weighed about 450lbs and had all the acceleration of a tortoise with a wooden leg plus it looked weird

I used to work with a guy who raced one when they were new, did quite well too. He said they went great in a straight line with a set of pipes on them. But nothing would make them turn. He said he really enjoyed the thing. There is a cleanish one on ebay at the moment for $7,000 with a spare motor.

1974 350cc. Hercules released the Wankel powered W2000 and were the first company to produce a motorcycle with a Wankel rotary engine.

I want one, that would look awesome with some renthals, modern brakes and suspension, a new tail and an awesome paint job.
