Hey Fellas - Here's a tip

Should you need to replace your cables for longer ones, I just had mine done by a mob called SpeedScreen on Mt Alexander Rd in Flemington.

I had them make up three new cables, one Choke and the Push/Pull Throttle cable for my viffer - all sweet now and no more bowstrings lol - 200mm extra was a bit too much, so If anyone is fighting a 95 VFR, go max 150mm and min depending on your bars set up. Im using a low rise renthal fatbar so the 200mm was excessive.

Anyway, Not sure what the price is on an OEM set, say of a CB900 Hornet, but all three cost me AUD$128.

Pretty happy with the result, and will be out and about on the weekend to VPW in Thomo
to get some braided Brake and Clutch lines

:D

making extended cables is a simple process perhaps more people should learn.

I seem to always be making cables for things and other people. I will do a tech topic next time. Last cable I made cost me about $11 plus 25 minutes. Can be done with basic tools. I have even made one using a stove when I was a youngun.
