Hey everyone, another newbie. Located in Sydney and about to start my own streetfighter project.

Basically I ride a Hyosung GT650r as a work bike (yes i hear the rumbles already) and at a lovely 7000km into the bike from new, a lovely lady decided to pull infront of me and jam on the brakes while i was accelerating. 2 metres wasn't enough time to react and stop at 45km/h and I saw the car coming quite quick.

Needless to say, very little damage, only the front fairing support is bent, and some scratched up plastics and a busted digi dash.

What now? i stripped it somewhat so i can keep working, and will plan to modify the bike. I know its not worth it on a Hyosung, but that doesn't really matter, its not going to be an expensive project, just a basic one. Oh and the headlight is also damaged but still JUST works.

Any ideas and support would be great, i've always wanted to build a fighter, but never had a bike suitable for it.

Welcome mate! Nuttin wrong wit a little Hyo'... Rekon that headlight actually looks kinda cool like that! Bring on the build!

Actually, I will have the upgrade bikes on order soon :P

V-strom 650 or an XZ660SM, undecided.

and a 883 sportster Iron for the weekend :$ (i know, the dark oily side)

Nothing wrong with oil coolers as long as there not HD, the 660 is a wood duck think again.

Dude if they are your choices for an upgrade just buy yourself a mazda 323 and safe everyone the heart ache right now ;) Oh yeah welcome to the madness

ROFL... they are upgrades for "work" bikes, and I had a 323 ;) nothing wrong a BPT powered econobox ;)
