Some time on the weekend of the 19th-20th December a couple of mates and I are going for a tour since I've never been there.

So far it's nothing more than 3 drunk mates who caught up with each other last Saturday (for the first time in many months) deciding "Hey, we should do that!"

At this point I'd say we'll meet up in Torquay, have a coffee, then off to Warnambool for a late lunch.

After that we might take the shortest route home, or we might just do it all again in reverse.

I'll make a few calls today to find out if it's going to be more than just me, and go from there...

The great Ocean Road hey? I've heard a lot about it. I'm invited to ride there. This will take time on February '10. My g/fs friends managed to rent a bike when i'm there, and we all go to ride. Can anyone show me any videos when curving on that road? Just to take the idea!!! Thanks!!

Hmm, it looks like just more of the same roads we've got down here in South Gippsland, still, I'd like to get over there some time in the new year just so I can add it to my list...

I didn't end up going before Christmas for a number of reasons, and from all the advice I've been given it seems it was for the best - I'll wait for a good mid-week opportunity near the end of January when the roads are likely to be quieter.

yeah you'd be better off mate. had a bunch of mates go last w/e and i think 3 out of the 10 of em got dicked lol definitely not worth it this time of year ;) plus getting stuck behind caravans and slow shit boxes sucks lol

Thanks a lot man!!! You are the best! The video it's ok and i really got the picture (i think). It'll be nice and a fun ride i think! Not much speed as i saw. Maybe better that way, because here in Greece, at the places i go to do this, there's only the highway, and in order to put your knee on the ground, you'll have to go with 170-220kph. It is some kind of dangerous. Especially now, for i'm planning to do a family!!!
