I have an acewell unit and would like to to check what is the best way ( how others have done it ) for fitting the magnet to the wheel and the sensor.

Drill and tap the rear disc, screw on magnet:

Epoxy the sensor to the rear brake hanger:

Run the wiring next to the brake hose and the whole set up is virtually invisible. Sensor moves with the wheel for chain adjustments etc...

Hey Cruise, was your sensor wire long enough to reach the rear or did you have to cut and extend it?

i mounted mine the same way , out of the way of everything , i had to cut and solder some more
length to the wire , i used an old fone charger with the same wires inside.

I had to cut and extend it but being a single wire it only took a minute to sort out.

Abracket off a caliper bolt works too, then drill & tap the magnet into the disk carrier.
