Yes.. have to fess up
Me & My lad took Britannia & Fugly out on Monday...
within 30 minutes they both had yellow stickers on them ;)

copper wanted to know why I kept laughing, 18 months without being stopped aint bad I said

I went straight to the examination depot to ensure I do exactly whats required

Non the less there is a fair amount of work to be done

BRITANNIA
• Exhaust to meet 96db
• Odometer to work
• Head light to be fully adjustable
• Mudflap to be fitted
• Mirrors to comply in size
• Rectify long travel and grinding in rear brake
• Remove spikes from bike

FUGLY
• Exhaust to meet 96db
• Chain Guard to be fitted
• Oil leak to be fixed
• Stop light rear brake
• Rear Reflector
• Mudflap to be fitted
• Compliance plate to be fitted
• Frame No on headstock to be visible

Ya gotta laugh dont ya :D

amazing - not a lot of that makes the bike unsafe but is a bloody good revenue raiser

imagine how many subarus etc are going to be stuffed with their big exhausts etc - did they have a meter for the pipe mate?

*tip* pits at mandurah and kalamunda are meant to be pritty decent compared to the others are the city..

Was this cop a certified RWC tester ? How did he measure the decibels on pipe ? I got stopped for a noisy zorst but a couple of Hardly Rideables came past right on cue so I got off. It was a two wheeled cop so pretty good as cops go. Never even looked at huggers, lights or indicators.

Nah the cops didn't know anything, just figured it needed a Yellow.

Mel then took it down to the Pits to see what exactly they wanted before they would pass it.

Do you have the same law's as Qld where if you get stung for the same
offence again, you get bigger fine / bike held for a few day's,
worse so for a 3rd offence.

So... I thought I would run the old girl back over the pits but at a different testing centre so I could continue on to work if it passed

examiner walks out, greets me merrily and asked why I got stopped, fender!

just got back from mauritius on friday after a 4 week holiday...
and im jobless... waiting for an apprenticeship... 1 out of 2 bikes dont start (only 1 guess which one it is due to battery)
i have to cook for myself.. and the dog needs walking everyday..

good to hear the bikes are back on the road.. but what did they say bout the oil leak?
