Finally got all the parts I need (mostly, enough to get started).. so start work this weekend..

Putting a V-Rod headlight on, Acewell 2853 hanging off right side of frame in front of my knee, and a few other bits n pieces.

It's just the start.. all my funds go into my wedding at the moment.. after february I can start looking at proper work (I want to extend lower subframe arms so it raises the rear more, get CBR front end, and paint the frame/subframe/rads/everythingthatsnotred black)..

As it stands currently.. Acewell is mounted and wired up, dropped the clipons under top triple, and the V-Rod light is on and wired..

Acewell, dropped clipons below top triple clamp..

Tucked numberplate up under tail light, had to cut a hole for the seat key..

V-Rod headlight on the front, and new indicators front and back (on the front they're coming off the bottom triple clamp)..

Still needs a good clean, some paint on the headers, some black radiators off the newer storm or maybe move to a single front rad, paint the v-rod light bucket red, and a few other bits.. but I likes it so far.

I reckon it would look horn with a single front radiator, you've got a nice slimline kinda look going with the low clip ons and headlight

lookin good,Vtr is a good honest bike its a pity that there is so little room in front of the front cylinder for a curved radiator

Sen, mate single radiator for sure.. copy straight of the KILRV from OZfirestorm he won't mind, He's my brother in law, $200 for a brand spankers SV650 radiator a few minor mods and presto single rad.. that frame looks too good to cover up..
i think you'd be more than cabable of doing it, if our 2 mugs can figure it out, lol. btw the vrod headlight looks great in my opinion..

Nice! USDs are high on my wishlist but lots of other stuff to do first. Tossing up between going for an SV rad or building some fiberglass pods in the side to scoop air into the rads (something different)..

That first one is pure porn Gitzy, thanks for the pics! Love the rads tilted flat on like that. Awesome idea.

It's all a while off anyway so plenty of time to think up hairbrained schemes ;)

Fr now I wanna do something funky with the exhausts and paint the frame etc black and I'd be pretty happy for a while like that :)

Oooh black frame would look the goods mate. easy job too in my opinion. mount bike from engine and pull frame off it.. wish all bikes were like that... funky exhausts?? what are you thinking? or cant you divulge us yet, do we have to wait..:D

Yeah black frame is the ultimate dream but it's beyond me at the moment, no garage and never pulled stripped a bike down to frame.

One day.

As for exhausts, was hoping for something slung underneath if it fits, Buell style.

Gitzy

Ahhh nice thinking.. that would look the goods.. me and bro had his storm stripped down to bare essentials and a few bolts more and maybe an hour and the frame pulls away from the engine.. when you have the room and time dont be scared youll be so happy you did it..

Gitzy
