Howzit

Yes, I'm the guy who binned R6 at NFR.

Everyone suggested i join the forum...
so i did.

Heres an update on R6. I've had a quote to get repairs and it's looking like it could be a write off :). If it is i'll have whats left of the faring on ebay by the end of next week, and the pure awesomness can be unleashed.

cant wait for next time...

Hey Muz, glad you made it on to the site mate, write off eh? So whats the plan? Buy the R6 back of the insurance company once they write it off?

Its a 2005 R6 amd according to the repaier this is $7500 damage( ? ), I'm hoping for the insurance assesor to write it off and give me money so i can pull apart into little bits and start changing things.

Yea i'm gonna buy it back for sure if they do write it off, the thought of getting something else crossed my mind but i think the r6 will make for an interesting project

your not wrong, if thats what it costs for some plastic, a headlight and a tank respray i should at least get a nice amount on ebay for the plastic if they want to repair it rather than write it off.
