2005 ZX12r - Expressions of interest only plz

Hi all,

Pretty soon ill have the opportunity to own my dream bike (A new Benelli TNT 1130), and i was just after advice on what my bike would be worth to sell. Bike as follows:

2005 ZX12r
Bike was purchased as a repairable write off (RHS fairing damage + headlight + exhaust can only) with 3000km on the clock.

Since then, its been made naked, given the streetfighter treatment (KTM bars, risers, Yoshi RS3 can, K&N filters, repainted from blue to black, PC3 USB with yoshi / K&N map, Acewell 3963 (in the mail), rear hugger, black LED taillight with built in indicators, made some stuff gold & pretty, billet bar mirrors, matching black undertail (yet to be fitted).

Comes with dominator headlight + fork clamps etc, the current headlight, oggy-style frame sliders (made from derelin , not fitted yet) the OEM taillight, standard mirrors, handlebars, air-ram pipes, and a rear centre-stand + spools. Also comes with ventura rack with both grab-handle and pack rack attachments, and gear pack. Oh, and remainder of paint, plus paint-code receipt.

Bike now has an estimated 6500-7000km on it. Bike has been serviced every 3000km (once when i bought it, and once about 800km ago).

Narry a bug on it, and never seen the strip or done a burnout. its been my weekend-ride-it-to-walhalla toy. It'd be sold with a full roadworthy, and at least 10 months rego.

Whats it worth basically?

Haha, not after swaps thanks (tards are cool though). Im just after a realistic rough figure for a private sale so as to do a bit of basic financial maths. Any & all opinions on value will help me gain insight. Thanks guys

In good original trim I would say it would fetch up to $10k, modified and the repairable write off history won't help your resale at all. I would have a guess at 7 grand? Just a guess though mate, its worth what someone wants to pay for it.

Which headlight Wacky? Ive had one or two mates interested in both acerbis & dominator ones and if i have to, ill import half a dozen from the USA to save us on postage.

Can anyone reccommend a good supplier of fairings just incase i do have to sell the ol girl?

Its a long story, but if i can swing a work lease on a new VE SS wagon, i'll have everything sorted to buy the Benelli TNT outright and keep the ninja 12 and build a turbo track bike out of it.

Just waiting to hear back from work about it, but id like a set of fairings anyway just to do 200mph "comfortably"

Thanks for the interest stiz, but for $5k, i'd keep it. Im just after advice on what its worth, and if returning it to standard would fetch up to $10k, that'd make more sense to me.

P.s. ive got no idea how to check a P.M on the site, so if anyone could explain that, i'd appreciate it.
