Okay so i had a bit of an accident with my 08 GSXR 750, i was a bit sad and dissapointed for a while there but i've decided to turn it into a street fighter now so i just thought i'd show everyone where im up to with everything. Their are a few things i didnt account for that have come up but i'll slowly get through them all. wish me luck

Pulling it to pieces. Had to take the swingarm off to get a cracked weld fixed.

Just putting my fighter bars on.

can see it taking shape nicely, headlight looks spot on and suits well, will look better if you move it down so the bottom of the headlight assembly is the same height as the bottom triple clamp. looking good mate

Yeah i would like to do that, but the steering dampner is in the way. any ideas on what i could do here ?

you could try to relocate it to the top, or down lower with a bracket for the frame mount, and a fork clamp for where it attaches to the fork. Or you could just remove it, but it would be better left on now that you have wider/straighter than standard clip-ons.

Looking really good, any exhaust ideas?

OzmaK8
06-12-2009, 09:29 PM
Nah mate i didnt get it off ebay i just found it on this website and got my local dealer to contact them and get me one. i think its was like $150 or somethin.

http://trailtech.net/motorcycle_lights.html

For the exhaust im thinking either have a slash cut race pipe off the side like the jardine GP1 or have one coming out each side. it should be getting made up this week ill throw some pics up when its done.

OzmaK8
21-03-2010, 03:54 PM
Yeah i was considering having a few interchangeable tips and this would be one of them. Yeah Gitzy i still want to use that trailtech light im just having a few drama's mounting it up the steering dampner is just right in the way of it, need to work something out for it.

I reckon the yoshi is a winner mate.

OzmaK8
21-03-2010, 05:58 PM
Haha that near on exactly what i want except black, and i plan to have a tip like that slash cut bit that i can bolt back on and off whenever i please :P i cant see the steering dampner though looks like they've moved it, got any more photo's Gitzy ? Is this person on this forum ?

Hey slick i cant tell you much about the headlight as i havent had it on and working yet, and im not sure on the CE approval but i reckon you could find out off the trailtech website, they are made for enduro dirt bikes so i'd say they have to be half decent.

Gitzy
21-03-2010, 06:02 PM
Found it floating in my gixer collection, only 1 photo sorry mate.. do the 600's have dampner standard?? if so maybe thought he could do without it..
