Clear gloss on carbon fibre ?

One for our resident paint pro's....
What's the best for c/f ?
2-pack, acrylic ???
Can you add a small amount of black to make it slightly tinted ?
There is some fading from the straps and they will, by sods law be in the wrong place on the new bike.

I'd have thought acryllic as its water based, as opposed to 2pac/enamel which are oil based. Nothing to stop you adding black to a clear topcoat to give it a tint either

I have painted carbon with acrylic from a pressure pack, got great results too. the carbon draws in a heap of it so you'll need a lot of coats. but it works well and comes out with an even sheen.

Cheers Freaks....it worked a treat...nice'n'shiny cans.
Gave 'em a good rub down and got rid of most of the fade marks too.:)
