I've now fitted up the second Supertrapp can..makes a world of difference to the running....but the chain is just touching when on the side stand..not so bad when I'm on it but I don't want to chainsaw through it.
Anyone used a mx jockey wheel on a road bike ? I thought of mounting one on the underside of the swingarm to lift the chain slightly....or can anyone supply some tough nylon block stuff I could fit as a sacrificial pad on the can ????

Can you cut off a piece of your girlfriend's/wife's chopping board without them noticing? :)

The white plastic/nylon ones....

Thanks Clint. I'm thinkin I can make a billet thingy like the pic above that just stops the chain making contact but does not get in the way for tensioning....bit of nylon would be great.....about 1/2" thick ish...
'Ere...What part of a shell/bomb/bullet is made of Nylon ??

After studying the m/crossers at the local shop I came up with this as a prototype. Several of them had a fixed (ie non sprung) wheel located below the s/arm pivot area.
As the chain is only lifted about 5mm by the wheel I can't foresee any probs....or have I missed summat ???

Cheers Iceman, but I won't need the nylon ....I hope....
