Hey mate, great build! what ended up happening with qld transport and getting it legal.. I ask because i have a 94 blade fighter im almost done that might be hard to pass and was wondering about the process. Custom subframe with r6 rear end, way too loud exhaust..ect. What are the things they look for? Im on the sunny coast

Cheers

Depends on who looks at it and how much they know about bikes. I had to quieten the exhaust and put a rear fender on with a reflector before he would pass it. As long as everything looks like it's meant to be they are normally ok but again it depends. I would get a quiet exhaust temporarily put on so as not to draw too much attention to urself and you should be ok.......

Dealing with QLD transport has been like pulling teeth from a chicken.

That pipe will look heaps better and as you said it will expose your rear wheel nicely . Any chance you might change your mind on a tail tidy?
lol yeah I know, it's not the most attractive thing...I'll take it off for some photo's and make a decision then.

Having seen this bike in the flesh yesterday, I can honestly say the pics on here just don't do it justice.

Rob get onto those guys offering photo shoots and get this thing into the centrefold of Rapid and do it (and yourself) some true justice.

It is honestly far more than it appears from the photos.

I love it. <s>Even if it is a dirty rotten stinkin Honda</s>

Thanks for the kind words mate. Hopefully the new year will get it in a mag once I find someone that knows how to use a camera [:p] As you have seen I certainly can't!!

Took the Judge Dredd exhaust off for something a little more svelte. Surprisingly it's not too offensive with the baffle out at normal revs but does attract a bit of attention above about 5000rpm : )

Got myself a VFR rim for those days when I want it to handle a little better. Huge difference in handling with the smaller tyre and I guess the weight difference between the anchor (car wheel) and the bike wheel might be contributing a little too ; )
