MZ motorcycles -what motors do they use? any good?

Hi guys,
any info on MZ bikes?
I know the 660 single is the same as a yamaha xt motor but what about other models? are the motors in the larger bikes a rebadged japanese motor?
any input appreiated.

they used to use rotax lumps too on the scorpion as far as im aware and thyre
two strokes are under rated

Don't know about the bigger stuff, but like Rod says, their 2 bangers are a good thing shit styling but go forever.
