Are vfr 400 and 800 s/s swingarm sizes the same? ie length / strength / hub sizes / pivot width? and would an 800 rim fit onto a 400 hub?
I can get a complete 400 assy ex UK for AUS $500 complete or an 800 for about $900 to my door. The local wreckers want $1000 to $1200 and I have to go get it. I aint that rich so was hoping the 400 will be the same.
Thanks
Phill

Got a few ideas for the sss. looking at Damo1's arm which is the Elf version ( I Think)
need to cut the rear off the current bike including part of the downward part of the frame and fit a curved section to accomodate the shock set up.

its pretty much any choice of tail subframe and trim then.

front susp update prob means whole new set up as the old cbr stuff isnt really adjustable with out pulling it all to pieces and a whole lot a rootin around.
Plenty of time to go into it yet but could sure use the feedback
Thanks
