well, for some one, modifying slabbies etc is a madness itself, for another one it is not... noted bike designer ian mcelroy has run out of budget with his previous bike projects, but gone to far playing with madness... so had to pick up whatd been available at the nearest junkyard: a smashed subaru wrx, some mitsu and other garbage from gmc and even datsun cars at affordable price [8D]
... after eh... not certain how long it took, ian represents to the 'bikers community' the fruit of his relentless efforts: the kickboxer, subaru wrx's engine powered turbo mad bike [:0]

the front wheel hub comes from some gmc car from 80s, the rear one is from a datsun (btw datsun means son of a bitch in japlish, ah u knew that! ;))

two intercoolers r from e-bay, swinga's made from towel hangers, the tank and the bikini r made from an old washing machine drum, every fucking thing was found in junkyards, as well as tyres, chain, audi tt wheels etc [^]

probably going to get flamed here, but i hate it. bikes to me r supposed to be good to ride there is no doubt that the guy has a good imagination and/or dealer, and the skills to put it all in to practice, but why all the effort for something that would be scary to ride, and i don't mean hayabusa turbo type scary, I mean 'oh fuck i'm going to die type scary' [}:)]

i just can't understand why he would waste his obvious talents on something 'just because he can'
out of a cast iron blocked car engine that weighs ,how much?
wouldn't you have better building a one off frame around a bike engine that you could have got better figures out of just with the engine with out the turbo????
and then got even more HP from turboing later.
would have been lighter faster and looked better as well.
and for the record i'd have the CB

and as for bikes manufactured by the car designers, u must have meant the v-rod designed by porsche [}:)] in my opinion the car engines are more advanced, having a greater reliability and potential to speeding up the engine
when i usually look under any car bonnet im guessing if the engine could be transplanted into a bike [:I]
but ur right hos, i wouldnt take the boxer for a bike, its alright for a trike or a quad though

no way, never forget the munch! its my godless icon after all :( thats the matter of taste, but i see not a single ugly feature or detail in mammuth 2000, yup a tad heavy and 'just' 260 hp, but just on the factory preset 0.8 bar boost, scary to imagine how many hp it can make at higher boost [:0]
