Can anyone recommend a supplier ?
I am after 100mm OD tube about 400mm long...2 of..
After the recent muffler fiasco I am going to build my own.

cant recommend anyone, but I dont think you can do any worse than the ones you posted. Post a pick when you get done, I am interested.

What wall thickness do you want, straight cf or cf/kevlar weave?

Straight CF, and about 1.5mm ish wall thickness and approx 350-400mm long.
I need 98mm ID to take the Supertrapp guts.

Their stuff is filament wound not a regular type weave, still looks good tho.

Nice one Ben...
Spoke to them today..They didn't have any 1.5mm x 100mm left in stock...minimum order to make it up was 3m....@$218/m plus gst [:0]

The guy went and had a look around and found a 760mm offcut of 3mm x 100mm and let me have that for the same price as the 1.5mm. :D

These guys might be worth a try http://www.carbonfiber.com.au/. Website only shows tube up to 25 mm but you never know. Looks like they also sell the stuff to make your own gear

Ain't life typical...The same day my tube turned up I spotted these newly listed on evilbay

Carbon cans for XJR1200 complete with link pipes...bolt straight on [}:)]
A couple of hundred bucks later they are mine.:D

So now I have 900mm of 3mm wall carbon tube to sell. [V]
