mikuni rs flat slides

I just bought a set of mikuni rs flat slides for my gsxr1100 and wondering if any one has done the same i could use some advice on fitting them

hey mate ,the switch should be a straight swap as long as u got a set to suit your motor,(ie.distance betwen the carbs),so tank off,air filters off ,throttle cables off at the throttle end, loosen manifold clamps ,disconnect choke cable and take em out,now u can swap the cables over to the new carbs and do it all again backwards, if you have really old manifold rubbers its a good idea to get new ones now as its a pain in the arse to get ur carbs in/out of old stiff ones and they often have cracks in em which fucks ur fueling,lastly make a decision as to what pipe and pods ur goin to stick with and take $300 or so to a dyno man then FUCKIN CANE HER MATE :)

thanks mate i was struglen with the manfold rubers and it did seem like it was hiting the starter motor but thats probably cause of the rubbers. cheers
