Hey guys.
Does anyone know anything local (Western subs - City), who know what they're doing as far as rejetting goes?

I'm starting to doubt my mechanic. Granted, its a difficult job to do on a fightered Ninja due to the turbulence of the intake, but 6 weeks later, and after using a Factory Jet Kit, its still not ready.

Issue: 80+km/h gets very rough and loses power.
Full throttle over 80km/h = jerky acceleration.

Have you got your carb balance pipe plugged into the airbox? If so, where-abouts in the box is it located (as close to the intake area as possible is best).

FWIW my dyno guy ended up drilling out the standard jets for my ZX9 as the Factory Pro jets in the kit were too small (I have a K&N filter, Muzzy TI race headers and Micron CF shorty though....)

The balance pipe is relocated to the top front of the airbox, with the end of the pipe sitting flush with the top of the filter.

I have an Akrapovic exhaust, K&N Filter.

He's just increased the pilot size today, I'm calling him tomorrow, hopefully its ready tomorrow night.

If not, i'm gonna be one unhappy customer.

Could this be restricting the flow through the pipe??
