The fairing 'S' model is 5 kg heavier than the naked.

The headers are yoshie items ...8 lbs instead of about 17lbs !!! Stockers are double skinned and have a very small internal dia giving good low/midrange but hurting the top end. Surprising how much everything weighs when added up. G.

Very noice Bandit! Are they stock carbies? And could you run through some of the other weight saving ideas?

yep stock carbs but with stage 3 dynojet kitand pods. H/light is an Acerbi halogen twin spots.Weighs nothing. Carbon bits and accessory seat come from Coerce (jap, I think ?) Muffler hanger I made from sheet ali. Other weight saving is either removed parts or lighter items like the full exhaust . Headers alone saved 4 kgs ! No air box. For bike meets I remove evrything I can ,stands, instruments etc and next time the alternator (3.6kg) Gaz.

Drop the motor mate, that'll reeally bring the fat bitch down on the scales, and you won't have to worry about running out of island anymore. :D

Have you looked at doing something with the discs? Exben should be able to give you some idea of the weight difference between yours and the buzz saws he makes.

I put full sintered pads into the Geeps the other month, and they grip well, but I think they put back on half the weight I'd already taken off. And Titanium headers are the way mate, they weigh less than Paris Hiltons brain.
