hey all, what can i use to get rid of some rusty spots in my tank? dont want them to get worse, is there a coating or something to put in tank to disolve them......cheers

Look here http://www.ppc.au.com/ under kits.
They do a fuel tank repair kit that I've used a few times.
Works great if you follow the directions properly.

hillsy did that way work well, as in has the rust come back?

It will remove the rust no problems - but you are left with bare metal, so it's gonna rust again if you don't treat it or keep away from the atmosphere. If it's the inside of a tank, it will be OK if you keep the tank full (or don't leave your tank near empty for long periods).
The biggest plus for this method is that you don't have to muck around with toxic chemicals and solvents. And it's cheap.
