The Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club is having its show at the Healesville Horseracing track this Satdy & the Southern Classic race meeting is on at Broadford both days.
Lots of older Jap stuff to see/watch at both events if you're into that sort of thing.
I don't have a rideable bike at the moment so unless I can borrow one before then, I'll be going in the car [V]

Public access at Healsville is from 12-5pm, I think it is like $2 to get in, Suzuki has demo bikes up there to ride. I'll be at Healesville, either on the bike or in the staty.

my old man worked setting up that event theyre having a little rally on the way up there on the Saturday through the spur, they've been organizing it for a while

My landlord had one of those turbo Z1Rs in about 1980 back in unzud.
I used to think bikes couldn't get any better from then on...callow youth I was!

i got there too late got lost doing laps of the spur, looks like someone had a nasty off into the side of a truck coming out of the last corner into healsville

After I left I did a lap of the Refton, Come around a corner and had to drag a guys triumph sprint off him, it had him pinned to the hill side. He was giggling at the thought of what he looked like. Once I knew he was ok (and a little bit before) I laughed my arse off at him.

there are plenty of stupid hooligans that ride around there isnt there.. 650 hyosungs speeding past in the straights to get caught up the arse of ahead cars.. they give riders a bad name
